Iranian Cultural Complex merges with the Sand Dunes

Iranian studio Hajizadeh & Associates proposes a cultural complex for Chabahar, in the southern Iranian state Sistan va Baluchestan.

Hajizadeh’s center is inspired by the desert and resembles the sand dunes. ‘Our building is a part of the history of Chobohar, it is part of the mountains or a part of the sea. it is a part of the environment,’ says Amir Hussein Hajizadeh, the founder of Hajizadeh & Associates studio.

The C.F.Z office and cultural complex comprises three hills, two of which have an open roof, with an approximate area of 16,500 hectares of land.
